We’ve said this countless times in previous posts and we’re going to say it again; we’re extremely grateful. Here is why; we’re less than a block to the sandy beaches of Carlsbad State Beach, accessible via public stairwells or ramp just south of the resort. Our property also sits on the corner of Carlsbad Boulevard (Pacific Coast Highway) and Carlsbad Village Drive right in the heart of Carlsbad Village. You can’t beat the location! Now, picture booking some event space for your upcoming meetings or family function and after walk to the beach or restaurants in Carlsbad Village- job well done!
Did you know that Carlsbad Inn has two (2) indoor event spaces, one (1) Boardroom and outdoor space called the Pointe on property? Let’s start with our Sunset Terrace as this room is our premier event space!
Sunset Terrace: located on the 2nd floor of our hotel building. The Sunset Terrace offers a full wall of French doors that open to an outdoor terrace with views of our courtyard, stunning ocean views and beautiful sunsets! This room accommodates comfortably sixty (60) guests- ideal for small wedding parties or company retreats. Tables, chairs and linens are included in the rental fees plus coffee, tea and water service. A 75″ inch flat screen TV with included HDMI cables also helps liven up your event. Access to this room is from 8am-9pm daily for any event and allow a courtesy hour to 10pm to clear out any items/decorations brought-in. Rental fees vary depending on weekday/weekend and season.
Village Terrace: our 2nd indoor event space is located in a separate building from the hotel above Daily News Café. The Village Terrace offers vaulted ceilings and great outdoor terrace space with views into Carlsbad Village! This is our larger event room, accommodating up-to sixty (60) guests. Tables. chairs and linens are supplied by the resort and included in the rental fee plus coffee, tea and water service. Due to the larger foot-print, this space is perfect for larger wedding receptions and corporate groups. Groups have access to this space from 8am-10pm for their event and we allow a courtesy hour to 11pm to clear out any items/decorations brought in. Rental fees vary depending on weekday/weekend and season.
Boardroom: a functional and comfortable setting for business, conferences or small corporate gatherings. Our Boardroom accommodates a group up-to twelve (12) people. Amenities include a conference table, flat screen TV accessed through a central console and a full wall of whiteboards. There is also a patio looking out to the courtyard for break-away space! Rental fees vary depending on weekday/weekend and season- contact the Hotel Sales team for rates/availability.
Pointe: our outdoor space offering an ocean view backdrop that is perfect for your “I-do’s”! The Pointe is located at the northwest end of our courtyard that accommodates a party of forty (40) guests comfortably. Chairs and tables are supplied by the Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort covered in the rental fee. This space is ideal for wedding ceremonies and corporate events! Rental fees vary depending on weekday/weekend and season- contact the Hotel Sales team for rates/availability.
Bonus: complimentary Wi-fi is available throughout the resort and in all event spaces. The Carlsbad Inn also provides A/V equipment including HDMI cables, adapters, screen/projector, conference telephone and power strips/electrical cords at no extra cost.
It is worth noting that the Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort does not provide catering as we do not offer food & beverage. We’re happy to provide recommendations for food & beverage or you may bring in whomever you like!
In addition to renting event space we also offer courtesy room blocks in our Hotel for traveling guests. Courtesy room blocks start with ten (10) standard guest rooms and accruing more is based on demand & availability. *Discounted rates are offered to guests up until thirty (30) days prior to the contracted arrival date of the courtesy block- once we hit the 30 day mark all unreserved rooms remaining in the block if any are released back to our hotel inventory penalty-free. Late additions to the block (within 30 days) are based on availability and will pay the best available rate in the hotel at that time. Guests have the option of upgrading to larger hotel suites if they desire larger accommodations as well- upgrades fees range depending on views and amenities.
