Our Carlsbad Inn staff were in the giving spirit this holiday season!  We agree with Buddy the Elf that singing is a great way to spread Christmas cheer but we we’re eager to do more to make the holidays special.

You would not have caught any of the Carlsbad Inn staff singing out in Carlsbad village but you may have spotted them delivering gifts to the Boys & Girls Club of Carlsbad.  Giving is the reason for the season and we were excited to help make the holidays a little brighter!

Having sought-after gifts under the Christmas tree can be tough so we were eager to brighten the holiday by giving gifts to a family in need.  We adopted a family of five through the Carlsbad Christmas Bureau for the opportunity to help make the holiday special.  Our staff shopped around Carlsbad Village and purchased gifts including a bike, clothes, shoes, sporting goods, gift cards, microwave, etc.  We only wish we could see how big their smiles are Christmas morning when they open their gifts.

It’s easy to forget the true meaning of the holiday season of spending time with family & friends with all the pressures of holiday gift giving.  We hope the gifts the family receives can help alleviate that stress so they can truly focus on what matters most:  family.  We’re thrilled knowing they will be together on Christmas morning to unwrap their gifts!

The Carlsbad Inn is beyond grateful for this opportunity.  Giving really is one of the best gifts of all and we’re already looking forward to next year!
