Back in November of 2018, the Carlsbad Inn was lucky enough to host lifestyle blogger Hava Brown and her lovely family during their Thanksgiving vacation to Southern California. Read on to find out how they enjoyed the resort while also taking advantage of the Inn’s walkable restaurants and shops, the short drive to LegoLand, and above all- easy access to the beach!
We just got back from California, and had such an amazing time. We took our kids to the San Diego Zoo, and to LegoLand for the first time. We made some amazing memories that will definitely last a lifetime. We stayed at the Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort, and it was absolutely beautiful. My parents live in California so we went to visit them for the holidays, and then took a road trip to San Diego.
The Carlsbad Inn is an oasis, and conveniently located just 10 minutes from LegoLand. The location of this place is amazing, but let me first tell you about their amazing rooms and decor. When you enter this resort, it has a cozy yet elegant feel. The staff is super friendly, and make you feel right at home.
The property consists of guest rooms, suites, and condos. We even had a sitting area that turned into a bed, a little kitchen area, and a big comfy bed.
The best part was the 2 decks that were attached to our rooms, so we could enjoy the ocean air. In the evening, we could walk down to the end of our floor that had a comfy seating area equipped with a fireplace, that my parents took full advantage of. The resort even has an activity schedule and fresh coffee down in the lobby every morning.
The entire property from the pool, to the hot tub, and lounge area are stunning, and made for relaxation at it’s best. Our family enjoyed spending some mornings out there.
The Carlsbad Inn is located right by the beach, literally a block away. The views are breathtaking. It is also located right in the Village of Carlsbad, so you can easily walk to multiple restaurants, and shops. The area was ridiculously cute with lots of character. We really enjoyed exploring this little town.
There were so many delicious dining options. We enjoyed some authentic tacos, and fresh donuts located right on the strip. We also walked down to the beach one morning, and enjoyed running our feet through the sand.
We would love to visit this location again, and my dad was already looking up future vacations in this super cute town to spend more time there exploring. If your headed to LegoLand or just want a beautiful, and relaxing place to stay, this place is perfect!
