Wander though waves of color. Experience 50 acres of extraordinary blooms on a hillside overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The Carlsbad Flower Fields will be open from March 1st until May 13th. The Flower Fields are open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Parking is free.

This year's schedule includes:

• Kids' Day, March 31. Children can enjoy science activities, face painting, entertainment and art projects.
• Arts & Crafts Fair, April 14-15. Paintings, photography and crafts created by local artisans.
• Fresh Strawberry Treats.
• National Volunteer Week, April 21. Non-profit organizations are invited to display information about volunteer opportunities.
• Orchids at the Flower Fields, April 27-29.
• Bluegrass Day, April 14. Come and enjoy the music as musicians wander and play music.

Carlsbad Flower Fields

The Flower Fields are a Carlsbad landmark and thousands of vistors stroll through the endless blooms each spring. The exact dates change each year because weather conditions affect when the flowers will bloom. Typically the blooms begin in mid-March and continue into May.
